The redevelopment of this space was required to produce an environment where Westpac’s staff could relax away from their place of work in a welcoming, clean and social space. Demolition of the old commercial kitchen, chillers and buffet style servery was first up, before we removed all of the old extract equipment and repaired the buildings exterior envelope to ensure integrity of the structure.

New suspended ceilings, floors and the creation of a shower and bathroom facility were up next before high quality joinery and appliances were installed as part of the finishing trades. The key feature of this space was the oval bench seat which required extensive design time to ensure that it could be loading onto the floor and still look like it was one complete unit without unsightly gaps and joins. An upgrade of the lift lobbies and lifts took place concurrently with this floors' fitout that resulted in a high quality result on time and with very little disruption to Westpac’s staff.
